We can serve in these times of genocide, child trafficking, climate collapse and injustice by tapping into our spiritual and creative soul purpose.
Studying with medicine woman Doctora Rocio @dr.rosalesmeza gives me hope, clarity and decolonial awareness. I deeply recommend her as a teacher for the decolonial + spiritual in right relationship.
What the spirits have been guiding me into is to speak about the balance we need to have of these four aspects (elements):
– Devotion to truth & Advocacy for justice (air)
– Right Relationship (earth)
– The inner world: the ancestors and spirits (water)
– Creativity (fire)
As we refine and deepen in these areas we attune to our true self, to integrity and our sacred work. We need to work on all of these aspects, because:
How can we fully receive from the Mother / our pre-colonial pre-patriarchal ancestors / the spirits (water) if we do not divest from our white colonial mind (earth)?
How can we be in integrity and right relationship with the Earth, People of the Global Majority, all beings and self (earth) if we do not devote ourselves to the truth about the current colonial system and western propaganda, and advocate for justice (air)?
How can we have the impact needed in our advocacy for justice (air) if our work is not created from divine inspiration (fire)?
How can we create from divine inspiration / the Mother / the future timeline (fire) if we do not tend to our inner world, to ritual and prayer (water)?
The above are my values and my baseline when I will be speaking of creativity.
