Like many others, I have in the last 1,5 years begun to see more and more clearly the true dynamics behind the chaos and destruction in the world. There are things that are obvious to me now that I was blind to before.
This post is for you who care about human rights and believe in equal value for all. I will give an example of a spiritual teacher who is a zionist.
It is a woman that I followed on Instagram for years and at some point I was also part of her community for a short period. She is a shamanic priestess and speaks of Avalon, the Order of the Blue Rose and of Jesus, Mary Magdalene and Mother Mary.
You would think that such a person is caring for all people, for humanity and all of life. But no.
One day about one year ago – during the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians – she linked in her stories to one of her IG highlights called ”Israel”. In which she declares her love and devotion for Israel as the ”the holy lands”.
I was shocked. (today it would not shock me but one year ago it did)
Some time went by and I was still perplexed. So I wrote her a message asking her to clarify.
She replied:
This message might seem harmless, but she could so easily – with basically one sentence – show me she cared about what happens to the Palestinians. She didn’t.
So… First, in her post she amplifies her love and adoration for Israel. She does not bother naming the Palestinians and the genocide in any way neither in her post, nor in her reply to me. She is avoiding to comment and suggests in a way that I unfollow her. She never ”circled back” and I did not expect her to.
This is a spiritual teacher who is white supremacist, okay with genocide and is basically holding nazi-like values. There are many people like this in the spiritual community and it is harmful.
